Having being exposed to different forms of art throughout my life and professional career inside the video/tv/film production, I found ways to continue creating my own work which I call ¨Experimental drives¨ - an understanding of the work I´ve done and those in progress. Some of the fields I´ve jumped into and continue doing so are: video, photography, music, writing, painting, tv, film, installation art, digital art, animation, and history among others. Part of who I am is what I do at the moment I create something. Ëxperimental drives¨ touches my intuition, inspiration, and the way I see what I see when I see it, create it, or interpret it.
A creative mind never rests, even in dreams new worlds open up new possibilities.
Inside the ¨Experimental drives¨ mode, reality is perceived in layers. Each layer has its own identifying elements, so what is real in one layer might not be in the other, leaving ¨reality as a whole¨ vulnerable to preconceived knowledge and possible judgment. In my work, ¨Experimental Drives¨ develops a sense of unruled freedom, and yet it´s framed by my own limitations. Jeannie Belgrave
